🎟️🦁 Golden Tickets, Big Smiles, and Lunch with Friends! 🦁🎟️

Another week means another group of lucky Golden Ticket Lunch winners at MSE! 💙

These Lions were randomly selected from students who had 95% or higher attendance last week and consistently demonstrated the MSE Way. Their special reward? Getting to choose their seats and enjoy lunch with their favorite friends! 🥳🍽️

We love celebrating our Lions for showing up, making great choices, and being positive role models in our building!

Keep showing up and showing the MSE Way, Lions! You never know when a Golden Ticket might have your name on it! 🎟️💙

🚌🌟 Another Distinguished Rider Making MSE Proud! 🌟🚌

A smile can go a long way, and this outstanding 5th grader proves it every day! 💛

We are excited to celebrate another MSE Lion who has earned the highly coveted Distinguished Rider Award! His bus driver shared that he consistently boards the bus with a smile and serves as a wonderful role model for his fellow riders.

His positive attitude, kindness, and leadership are exactly what the MSE Way is all about! 🦁

We are so proud of this young man for making every bus ride a little brighter! Keep shining! 🌟👏

Small but mighty… and apparently a master negotiator! 🦁🎤😂

Our Principal for the Day this week was a first grade Lion who proved that you don’t have to be big to run the show!

Selected for maintaining 95% or higher attendance and consistently demonstrating the MSE Way, our newest leader jumped right into action! From visiting classrooms to spotting students making great choices, refusing several teachers’ requests for nap time, and handing out Lion High Fives, this young principal took the job seriously… well, mostly! 😉

Of course, no principal’s day would be complete without Mrs. Siebert’s weekly request for ice cream. 🍦 Not only did our guest principal stand firm, but Mrs. Siebert was even tricked into thinking she had finally gotten her way! The best part? Our six-year-old principal proudly declared, “Bet you’ve never been psyched out by a six year old!” 🎤💥 MIC DROP! 🤣

We aren’t sure Mrs. Siebert will ever recover from that one!

We love watching our Lions bring their own personalities, confidence, and leadership to this special role. Another great reminder that showing up all day, every day opens the door to some pretty unforgettable opportunities!

We’re excited to introduce MSE Families! 💙💛 These small groups bring students from different grade levels together with school staff for fun activities and time to connect. Groups will stay together throughout the year and will meet several times, helping students build friendships and get to know more caring adults at MSE. We’re excited to help every student feel connected to our school community!

🌙🍪 Learning the moon phases… one Oreo at a time!

Our fifth graders got to eat their way through science last week as they created all 8 phases of the Moon using Oreos! 🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘

Science + Oreos = a pretty sweet way to learn! 😋🚀🌙

🦁 MSE SHOWED UP FOR HOMECOMING! 💙🎉

We had such a great time at yesterday’s Homecoming Parade! Our MSE Lions were absolutely wonderful and brought the school spirit from the beginning of the route all the way to the end. We are so proud of how they represented Main Street! 🦁💙

A huge THANK YOU to our parents for sharing your kiddos with us for the afternoon and helping make this experience possible. And thank you to all of our MSE families who lined the parade route, waved, cheered, and showed our Lions some love as we passed by!

There’s nothing better than seeing our MSE community come together. We loved every minute of it! 💙🦁🎉

Our Principal for the Day absolutely ROCKED the job today! 🦁👔✨

This fifth grade Lion took student recognition very seriously — in fact, we’re pretty sure she may have set a new record for the number of Lion High Fives awarded in a single day! 🙌 We may, however, need to review the fine print about promising recognition to siblings. 😉😂

She also held her ground when Mrs. Siebert made her weekly request for ice cream. 🍦🚫 (Better luck next week, Mrs. Siebert!) She made time during her busy schedule to visit a former teacher for a special hug ❤️ and, after a morning filled with important principal duties, decided that all this hard work really should come with a paycheck! 💵🤣

Between recognizing deserving Lions, making her rounds, and keeping MSE running smoothly, she brought plenty of leadership, laughter, and heart to the principal’s office today.

Our Principal for the Day program celebrates students who maintain 95% or higher attendance and consistently demonstrate the MSE Way. We love giving our Lions the chance to lead, recognize others, and see firsthand what happens when you show up all day, every day! 💙🦁💛
