🇺🇸🔥 THE FUTURE OF VFW POST 5436 ISN'T BUILT FROM THE SIDELINES… IT'S BUILT BY THOSE WHO SHOW UP! 💪

🚨 REMINDER — JOINT MEETING TONIGHT AT 5:30 PM! 🚨

📣 ALL MEMBERS ARE WELCOME!
🇺🇸 Post Members
❤️ Auxiliary Members
🤝 Social Members

YOUR POST. YOUR VOICE. YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Want to know what's coming up? Have an idea? Want to volunteer, get involved, or help make our Post even better?

THEN PULL UP A CHAIR. WE NEED YOU AT THE TABLE!

💥 Great things don't happen because a handful of people do everything. They happen when EVERYONE brings something to the table!

You don't have to hold an office, lead a committee, or have all the answers. Sometimes the biggest difference starts with simply showing up and saying, "How can I help?"

❤️ We don't just WANT your involvement. We NEED your ideas, your energy, your talents, and YOUR VOICE!

🇺🇸 VFW Post 5436 is more than a building. It's a community, a family, and a future we're building TOGETHER!

🔥 STOP WATCHING FROM THE SIDELINES. GET IN THE GAME!

📅 TONIGHT
⏰ 5:30 PM
📍 VFW POST 5436
🚪 Meeting will be held in the Meeting Room!

THE NEXT GREAT CHAPTER OF OUR POST STARTS WITH THE PEOPLE WHO SHOW UP TO HELP WRITE IT! 🇺🇸💪

The VFW supports correcting longstanding problems affecting veterans and survivors.
It opposes addressing those problems by reducing future veterans’ disability compensation.
Congress should consider legislation such as the Major Richard Star Act separately from TCAVA so fixing one injustice doesn’t create another.

WOW! What an incredible time we had yesterday at our VFW Post 5436 Trunk or Treat! 👻🚗

From the creative costumes to the excitement on the kids' faces, it was an afternoon filled with laughter, memories, and some good old-fashioned community spirit! ❤️

And let's talk about the real competition of the day…
🍫 FREE CANDY vs. A MILITARY TANK! 🪖

We're pretty sure that tank gave the candy a serious run for its money! 😂 Who knew military equipment could compete with chocolate for a kid's attention?!

👏 A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who decorated a vehicle, handed out candy, brought their families, volunteered, or simply showed up to support this wonderful event!

❤️ THIS is what community is all about!
It's not just about handing out candy. It's about bringing generations together, creating memories, and showing our youngest generation that they're surrounded by people who care.

🇺🇸 At VFW Post 5436, serving our community continues through moments just like these!

💪 When good people come together, GREAT things happen!

Thank you for making this year's Trunk or Treat something special. We couldn't have done it without YOU!🎃

The VFW supports many of the veteran, caregiver and survivor provisions Congress is considering in TCAVA.

Our objection is to Section 108, which would change how future claims for tinnitus and sleep apnea are rated to help pay for those provisions.

Veterans should not be used to balance the budget. Period.
