If you’re out for a fall drive, you’ll notice we planted two new trees in the circle. In one of our recent meetings, the trustees agreed that any time a tree was taken out of the Commons for any reason, a new one would be planted to preserve our green space.
At the north end of the park, we planted a Red Sunset Maple. At the south end of the park, we planted a Celebration Maple. In the spring, we would also like to plant a White Oak, it just happened to be too late in the year for it to survive the winter.
Shoutout to John from John’s Country Nursery for hooking us up with these gorgeous trees! Shoutout to Mason for getting the area prepped and planting the trees. Mason is a great machine operator! Thank you Peter for getting the trees all watered up!
