🚨 EMERGENCY WATER SERVICE NOTICE

5:32 pm October, 7th 2026

Water service will be shut off within the next few minutes and will remain off for an undetermined amount of time.

A water line supplying the water tower has busted, and crews are actively working to address the issue. I can assure you, the Holloways are on it and working to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

This is an emergency situation, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to restore water service.

Good afternoon, everyone! I hope this message finds you all well.

There have been quite a few rumors circulating lately imagine that! However, I’d like to clear up a couple of things because I feel it’s important that everyone has the correct information.

As many of you know, Mr. Dean VanWinkle is Jackson County’s Sheriff-elect. We all knew the time would come when Dean would leave his employment with the City of Tuckerman to begin preparing for his new role. Dean was originally scheduled to leave at the end of September 2026, but it was mutually understood that his last day would be one week earlier.

I hate to bust up all the fun, but to my knowledge, Dean and I remain great friends! I’m excited to see what he brings to Jackson County as your next Sheriff. He was my BEST OFFICER here in Tuckerman, and I have the utmost respect for him. I wish him nothing but success as he begins this next chapter.

Secondly, I am still your Mayor for now, and I will continue to serve in that role until further notice. I have stepped back a little as I work toward getting things in order for my next chapter, but I’m still here and remain committed to our community. 🤗

Thank you all, and I hope this clears up any confusion! - Zack

Today, we remember and honor those who lost their lives 25 years ago and reflect on the tragic events of that day.

I (Zack) was just 12 years old when it happened, an event that would forever be ingrained in our minds and in our nation’s history. It is a sobering reminder of just how quickly life can change.

As the years pass, may we never lose sight of what happened that day. Let us remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who courageously stepped forward, and keep in our hearts the families whose lives were forever changed.

May we never forget. 🇺🇸
