Guadalupe Easter Picnic 2026

Today we held our annual Easter Picnic for our Guadalupe seniors! Here are some photos of the wonderful time we had! Great music, games, food and raffles. We hope all the seniors enjoyed themselves and indulged in a good time today!

We would like to thank all the Senior Center staff from both Guadalupe and Tucson as well as the other departments who came out to help to make sure the seniors had a great time!

🐰Easter Picnic 2026🐰

Today, the Senior Center hosted our annual Easter Picnic at Pueblo Park. With perfect weather, our seniors had a wonderful opportunity to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the day. Activities included lawn darts, long toss, an egg balance race, dancing, breaking the piñata, egg hunt, and plenty of delicious food. We hope everyone had a fantastic time and felt the joy of the Easter celebration!

We would like to thank the Senior Center staff for putting on this event and making sure all our elders had a great time thank you!

‼️Holy Week Closure‼️

This is a reminder that the Senior Center will be closed starting Wednesday April 1st at noon through Monday April 6th and will reopen Tuesday April 7th at 8 am.

In observance of Holy Week, Pascua Yaqui Tribal Departments will close Wednesday, April 1st at noon and reopen Tuesday, April 7th at 8:00 AM.

The following services will remain open: El Rio Health Center, Benefits Coordinators, Pascua Yaqui Pharmacy, Walupe Pharmacy, and Native Health.

Today, the Senior Center welcomed a visit from the Sahuarita Food Bank, who provided an informative presentation along with a food demonstration for our seniors. The featured dish was Pesto Chicken Tacos, which our seniors were happy to taste and approve of!

We would like to thank Michelle for coordinating this along with the Sahuarita Food Bank for bringing good information and food to the Senior Center!

We are excited to announce the Senior Center has opened a salad bar for lunch in the congregate area. Our seniors were excited and eager to try out the delicious options!!

Come and register with us if you are 55 years or older and a tribal member to enjoy this and many other services we offer.

The Senior Center hosted its annual Valentine’s Day Party, and we had an amazing time! It’s always wonderful to see our elders enjoying themselves and sharing so many smiles. A big thank‑you to all the Senior Center staff for their hard work in making today’s event such a success.
