The Tucson Water Department has a Technological Intern vacancy, which entails a wide range of hydrogeological projects and field work that generally focus on water supply, groundwater level and quality monitoring, recharge, and water rights. Additional duties may include data analysis, assistance with reporting, and GIS map preparation. Some general office assistance including scanning and filing may also be required.

This is a nonpermanent position. It is designed and intended to provide entry level work experience for students who meet the minimum qualifications. This position will have a work schedule of approximately 20 hours per week; scheduling is flexible and may be tailored to class schedules or other activities. No benefits are offered with this position and nonpermanent employees may not work more than 1,500 hours per fiscal year (July 1-June 30). This internship is structured to be a one-year assignment with the option to extend.

This is a non-permanent position. It is designed and intended to provide entry level work experience for students who meet the minimum qualifications.
