Hi YCC! Sorry it has been so long since I have been in contact with you all. The last month has been a busy one in the woods. Yesterday was my last day of work at Saguaro until January (3 month vacation, baby!). Our first week at the Chiricahuas. We hiked over 10 miles this week, brushing and clearing the trail as we went. We also had a Greek-themed pool party to celebrate the half-way point of the season.

The Crew spent two weeks brushing almost 4 miles of steep trail. On our second day we hiked a total of 10 miles to the top of the ridge. Exhausting, but completely worth it! Great work everyone!

The Crew was invited to pick Saguaro fruit with the Tohono O'odham Tribe. We made dinner for everyone the night before and then spent most of the next day picking fruit and making syrup. An unforgettable experience!

Week One...it seems so long ago!
