For 19 incredible years, Becky has been the heartbeat of Los Amigos Tech Academy and the Sunnyside community. More than an Office Assistant, she has been our biggest cheerleader, our constant source of energy, and the spirit behind what makes LATA so special.

Becky came up with our guiding motto, "Love All Teach All” — words that
have shaped our culture, inspired our staff, and touched the lives of every Leopard who has walked our campus. Her positivity, dedication, and love for students and staff have left a legacy that will live on for generations. Becky didn't just support LATA... she helped build it into the Familia we are today.

You will be deeply missed, but your light will always shine here at LATA.

The Annual LATA Staff vs. 6th Grade Kickball Game was another one for the history books! 💥⚽️

Our 6th graders came ready to battle, but the staff showed once again why experience matters! 😂 Huge shoutout to the Class of 2026 for bringing the energy, competitiveness, and FUN all game long.

This past week we celebrated the amazing heroes in our Health Office, Ms. Stephanie and Nurse Michelle! From bumps and bruises to big feelings and everything in between, our Health Office is always a busy place… but these two are always ready to help a Leopard in need with care, compassion, and a smile. 🩺🐆

🎉 Wrapping Up Days 4 & 5 of Teacher Appreciation Week at LATA! 🎉

Yesterday, our teachers were treated to an AMAZING lunch from our friends over at Little Mexico Steakhouse! 🌮💙 Chimis, birria, and all the fixings made for the perfect Teacher Appreciation feast. Thank you so much for showing love to the BEST teachers in Sunnyside!

Today, a huge thank you to Mrs. Romanik’s wonderful friends Ms. Tamara, Mr. George, and Mr. Romanik for the delicious Nacho & Salad Bar! 🥗🧀 It was absolutely delicious and such a thoughtful treat for our staff.

And of course…THANK YOU to SEA for providing the famous Barra Loca from Chapi’s Party Time! 🍓🍍🍬 Special shoutout to Luz for always being so amazing and helping make our teachers feel celebrated all week long.

Our LATA teachers felt the LOVE all week long, and we are beyond grateful for the incredible community support. 💙
