What an incredible night for parks at Dragoon Brewing Co. Thanks Kevin Fedarko and all the national park supporters and book lovers that came to this (completely packed!) celebration of public lands.
With author talks and book signings, a retail pop-up shop, and $1 of every pint sold going back to support over 70 national parks across the West, it was a wonderful day full of friends, food and drink, and a shared love of these special landscapes.

The big games start this week. Are you
⚽ Watching FIFA?
💚 Watching pikas?
To avoid any confusion and make sure you’re tuning into the right channel—FIFA is the organization hosting the FIFA World Cup, an international soccer championship hosted by sixteen cities in North America. FIFA fans can be quite loud.
Pikas are also loud—they are known for their alarm calls. They are small mammals that live at high elevations in many national parks, including Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. They are also significantly smaller and fuzzier than a soccer ball.
If you’re a FIFA fan interested in national parks, or a national park fan who has the goal of seeing pikas in the wild, you’re in the right place. Visit wnp.org and start planning your trip today.
