Howenstine High Magnet School

As regrettable as it was that TUSD voted to close Howenstine to special needs students, it's at least nice to see something good--and perhaps even educational--taking place at the ol' stomping grounds.

The Greenest Party In the middle of the desert, a grassroots greenhouse produces amazing produce by unusual methods : There was something in a salad that had me perk up and quiz, "The heck did I just eat?"

TUSD has voted to close Howenstine. If you want to keep the students together, it's important you write the TUSD Governing Board now and often, insisting that if the building must be closed, at least move the students together to a new location, and let them stay together.
