This was an amazing training exercise. So much dedication to our community right here!

Preparing for the moments we hope never happen.

Today, Oro Valley Hospital team members trained alongside local law enforcement, fire, EMS and emergency management partners as part of a large-scale emergency preparedness exercise.

Exercises like this allow our teams to practice communication and coordination, strengthen community partnerships and identify opportunities to continuously improve our preparedness.

We hope we're never faced with the situation we practiced today. But if our community needs us, we want to be ready.

Thank you to our Northwest Healthcare team members and community partners who participated: Golder Ranch Fire District, American Medical Response AMR Southern Arizona, Oro Valley Police Department, City of Tucson Dispatch, Life Net 2, and Pima County Emergency Management.

Our crews were honored again at Northwest Healthcare Oro Valley Hospital for exceptional STEMI care. Rapid transport to the Cath lab can often be the difference between life and death for cardiac patients. Way to go team!!

We are excited to participate once again at this amazing event. We will bring an aircraft to the event and will have a booth where attendees can meet the flight crews! We hope to see you all in a couple weeks!!
