We are proud to recognize one of our most distinguished alumni, Camila Hurtado. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2021 with dual degrees in Spanish Translation & Interpretation and Physiology & Medical Sciences.
After graduation, she entered the Pre-Medical Admissions Pathway (P-MAP), an intensive one-year preparatory program designed for promising students who have faced significant obstacles. Through P-MAP, she earned a master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Medicine.
Most recently, Hurtado graduated from medical school and, beginning this summer, will start her residency training in otolaryngology at the College of Medicine – Tucson and Banner – University Medicine. Over the next five years, she will continue developing her expertise while serving patients through research and clinical care.
We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments, dedication, and commitment to helping others. We can’t wait to see all she achieves in the years ahead!
