Congratulations go out to Ben Drezdon and Ethan Wang for winning the superior engineering award in their UofA ENGR-102 class at the annual VAIL Solar Oven Throw Down.

Students were required to generate a spreadsheet based on a variety of variables in order to develop an oven design that would be able to hit a specific temperature. Ben and Ethan's oven came within 0.14 degrees celsius of their predicted temperature, achieving the best performance index ever seen.

Congratulations to all the students who participated and a thank you to Andrada High School for hosting the competition.
