Join for our fundraiser on Fat Tuesday for a pancake breakfast. Free will offering supports our food pantry for food insecure families with school age children.

Thanks to a grant from the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona we purchased a walk in freezer. Today we put it together. Thanks to our some of our awesome volunteers.

Thanks to Nick for getting the carpet glue off the floor and sealing. Walk-in freezer is on order! Now we start moving shelves and items from the family pantry in. Exciting!!

We are super excited as we are moving our office and family pantry into a different room. Our rooms will now be side by side with access to the parking lot for both of them. We removed the carpet today to prepare the concrete floor. Thank you Robert, Karen and Dave!

You know it's back to school time when we have our shoe parties. Close toed shoes that are checked by Karen for appropriate sizing. Our donors and grant dollars make these shoe parties possible. Our client families are very grateful.

Always nice to take the opportunity to defrost a freezer when our frozen foods fit into our other freezers. We are blessed to "rescue" food from Feeding America partner stores: Fry's - Kolb and Golf Links; Kolb and 22nd; Pantano and Speedway; Safeway - Houghton and Broadway; Target - Harrison and Old Spanish Trail. We have incredible, dedicated volunteers to make it happen.

We are so fortunate to "rescue" meat and other frozen foods, produce, bakery, prepared refrigerated meals, and other miscellaneous dry goods. Our donors, grants and food drives help us provide canned goods, pasta, cereal, peanut butter and other non-perishable foods. We have laundry detergent three or four times a year too. Thank you to our awesome supporters and volunteers. We couldn't do it without you.

Haven Totes,Inc has been awarded an anonymous grant which has a matching funds component attached to it. The grant may be up to $10,000.00. Any funds Haven Totes collects between now and December 31, 2023 will be matched dollar for dollar! If we raise $10,000.00, we would receive the additional $10,000.00 from the grant for a total of $20,000.00. This would greatly help us support our five food pantries with additional funds to purchase food. If you normally contribute your tax credit dollars to Haven Totes, now would be an EXCELLENT time to make that contribution!

A big “THANK YOU” to those that came out for our Bingo/Movie night fundraiser. It was a small group but it was a fun filled afternoon. If we didn’t see you at this fundraiser hopefully you can attend any future events.
