It was a great day being able to pick up trash around campus in support of the American Conservation Coalition Campus. Thanks to Joe Pitts for reaching out to us and asking for us to participate. Always happy to help!! Even Wilbur Wildcat showed up in support.
The University of Arizona College Republicans were appalled to hear of the racially-motivated assault on an African-American student at our university. We condemn these actions in no uncertain terms and stand with the Black Student Union in requesting that justice is served and that the assailant is appropriately punished. Racism should have no place in this university, this nation or this world and we believe that the university has the responsibility to ensure that every student is protected from violence.
