Killer Bee Safety Alert

TPFD has responded to two killer bee attacks within the past week. This level of bee activity is unusual for this early in the year. Residents are urged to use caution and follow these important safety guidelines:

How to Prevent Bee Encounters:

-Avoid wearing dark-colored clothing or scented products outdoors

-Keep food and beverages covered

-Remain calm if a bee approaches you

If You Are Attacked by a Swarm:

-Immediately run to a sheltered, enclosed area such as a car or building

-Cover your face with your shirt or hands to protect your eyes and airway

-Do not jump into water, as bees may remain above the surface

If you notice increased bee activity or a swarm in your area, contact local authorities for assistance.

Crews are working a motor vehicle accident at Ajo and Sandario. The Ajo hwy is closed in both directions. Please drive safe and find alternate routes.

The Three Points Fire District is proud to announce the arrival of two brand-new ambulances! This milestone has been a long time coming, and it marks a major step forward for our district. Replacing aging apparatus is critical to keeping our operations running at their best and—most importantly—ensuring the safety of our residents and community.
