May is Foster Care Awareness Month 🩵
What an incredible way to kick off! Thank you to our Intermountain Foster Care program for creating a wonderful free resource & appreciation event for families that are with our foster program and for community members that are interested in learning more on how to become a foster home.
Thank you as well to all our community partners that came to support a great cause!
All children deserve a loving home. Please consider and reach out for more information. It takes time to get licensed and there isn’t a perfect parent that you need to be, but the difference you can make in a child’s life is immense. You can be a foster parent- you are a positive and safe temporary solution that can create a lifelong impact💙

We are excited to partner with the amazing Community Foundation for Southern Arizona on such a timely and much-needed event. Join us in a few weeks for a heartfelt journey with the one and only Roots and Roads!
WHO CARES FOR THOSE WHO CARE? It is a great and very real paradox of nonprofit work: some of the most caring and hardworking people on Earth have a way of neglecting their own self-care, which only compounds the potential for burnout, stress, and anxiety.
Caring for We: Supporting Ourselves While Helping Others, is a free, 1-hour online session facilitated by Roots and Roads Community Hospice Foundation, a gentle, candid and at times humorous discussion of grief, sharing practical tools and insights on caring for yourself while navigating your own grief and supporting others.
This session is offered in partnership with Intermountain Centers and CFSA. RSVP here: https://cfsaz.org/event/caring-for-we/
