Tucson - we need your help again! We’re looking for friends/family of an avid motorcyclist - Lalo “Nite Nite” Gutierrez, who passed away in February of 2023. We need to temporarily relocate this roadside memorial, near Euclid & Seneca, during construction. Thank you!

The westbound curb lane will be restricted from 7th Ave to just west of Main Ave. This restriction will only be in place during the work hours. Next week! Lane shifts coming to Park Ave (22nd-36th)

On Wednesday, May 27, crews will begin to pave the initial layer of asphalt in the northbound lane of Park Avenue, from 22nd Street to 36th Street. At 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026, traffic will shift onto new asphalt as crews work in the southbound lanes. No southbound travel will be permitted on Park Avenue, between 22nd Street to 36th Street, to allow for pavement and waterline removal followed by paving.

This work and lane shift is scheduled to take place until late July, but is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Once this work is complete, the top lift of asphalt will be added to the north- and southbound lanes of Park Avenue, from 18th Street to 36th Street. The construction on Park Avenue is on track to be complete in October 2026.

The work taking place on South Park Avenue is possible through voter-approved Proposition 101 – Tucson Delivers: Better Streets. Since voter-approval, 640 arterial lane miles and 225 local lane miles have been improved.
