🍂 Welcome Back & Red Ribbon Spirit Week! 🎀
Hello Booth-Fickett Families,
We hope you and your family are enjoying a wonderful and relaxing Fall Break! We are excited to welcome our students back to school on Monday as we begin an exciting week of learning, school spirit, and important conversations during Red Ribbon Week, October 19-23.
This year, we are proud to partner with the National Guard to help educate our students about the importance of making healthy choices, staying drug-free, and building bright futures. Red Ribbon Week is a nationwide effort that encourages students to live healthy, safe, and positive lives, and we are looking forward to making the week both meaningful and fun!
We invite all students to participate in our daily Spirit Week activities:
🔴 Monday - Red Out Day: Wear RED and show your commitment to living drug-free!
🤠 Tuesday - Western Day: Give drugs the boot! Dress in your favorite western gear.
😴 Wednesday - Pajama Day: Dream drug-free! Wear your comfy pajamas.
👯 Thursday - Twin Day: Good friends make healthy choices! Dress like your best friend.
🦸 Friday - Superhero Day: Be a hero, be drug-free! Dress as your favorite superhero.
We encourage families to talk with their children about the importance of making healthy choices and standing strong against negative influences. Together, we can help our students develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
We can't wait to see everyone back on Monday, energized, ready to learn, and showing their school spirit throughout Red Ribbon Week!

Thank you for a fantastic first nine weeks of school! 🎉 We appreciate your partnership and support as we work together to help our students learn, grow, and succeed. ❤️

Please note the following important dates:
✅ No School Tomorrow (October 9) due to the End of 1st Quarter Grading Day.
🍂 Fall Break: October 9 - October 18
🏫 Students Return to School: Monday, October 19

📚 During Fall Break, we encourage all students to:
• Read a book every day
• Practice their reading skills
• Visit the library if possible
• Share stories and reading time with family members

🌟 We hope you and your family have a safe, fun, and restful Fall Break filled with great memories and quality time together!
😊 We can't wait to welcome our students back on October 19 and begin another exciting quarter of learning.

🎓🌟 AVID Spirit Week Was a Success! 🌟🎓
Dear Booth-Fickett Families,
What an amazing AVID Spirit Week we had! We are so proud of our students for showing their school spirit, creativity, and future aspirations throughout the week.
Our students had a wonderful time dressing up as their favorite careers, representing the many dreams and goals they have for the future. We also celebrated College Day, where students proudly wore college gear and explored the idea that higher education can be a pathway to achieving their dreams. To top it all off, students dressed their best for our Dress for Success/Job Interview Day, looking professional, confident, and ready to take on the world!
It was exciting to see future teachers, doctors, engineers, artists, athletes, veterinarians, and many other careers represented across campus. AVID Spirit Week was a fun way to encourage students to think about their futures while building school pride and excitement.
Thank you to our families for supporting your children and helping make this week such a memorable experience. Together, we are inspiring our students to dream big, work hard, and prepare for a successful future!
