The ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ช๐ฆ ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐๐ is a one-semester professional development opportunity for foreign language GATs at the University of Arizona. Fellowships are intended to support work on projects related to CERCLLโs mission as a National Language Resource Center. The current call for applications is for fellowships to be granted for one semester in Spring 2022. Fellowships are the equivalent of a .25 GA position in the College of Humanities, and must follow UArizona regulations surrounding maximum FTE, and required number of course units, etc. Preference will be given to advanced graduate students, but any GATs teaching in a foreign language program at the University of Arizona are invited to apply.
Students receiving funding for a CERCLL Graduate Fellowship will produce a publication that will be shared on CERCLLโs website. Research projects might include developing instructional materials, implementations of new technologies or new media, or classroom-based and action research projects.
New this Call: we accept applications from students whose projects involve languages indigenous to the United States.

The Cooper Center for Environmental Learning just wrapped up their 2020 Crowdfunding campaign exceeding their $30,000 goal with a total of $32,601 raised in donations! Gaining this support was critical to ensure that the Cooper Center can continue to serve Tucson-area students.
Both the college and the Cooper Center want to thank all of those who donated and helped spread the word about the campaign. This support will allow the Cooper Center team to continue sharing the wonders of our beautiful Sonoran Desert with learners of all ages.
