Last week's our Outdoor Adventure Program's backpacking trip to the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument had a little bit of everything—rain on the trail, relaxing hot springs, incredible sunsets, and memories we'll be talking about for years. 🌧️🥾♨️🌅 Despite the wet weather, every mile was worth it, and the views only seemed more beautiful after the storm.

CFSD Community Schools Outdoor Adventures is back with Wilderness Wayfinders: A Mt. Graham Adventure this July! Designed specifically for grades 6–9, this is the ultimate week for teens to gain real-world outdoor skills, build confidence, and camp under the stars.

From mastering navigation to cooking over an open fire, they’ll transition from backyard explorers to true wilderness wayfinders.

⛺ The Big Expedition (Wed–Fri): A rugged, two-night camping adventure on Mt. Graham to put those new skills to the test!

Want to breeze through the camp line like a pro? 🌟 To keep our campers safe and the line moving quickly, please take a look at our Catalina Foothills High School traffic flow map before Monday morning!

Here is everything you need to know to nail the routine:

🗺️ The Game Plan:

🔹 Enter & Exit: Always enter via the designated lane off E Sunrise Dr and exit through the main blue lane.

🟢 Double Stack: The main driveway uses a One-Way Double Stack system (green arrows). Stay in line and keep it moving!

🔀 The Zipper Merge: Cars will merge into 1 single lane right before the drop-off zone. Let's take turns nicely out there!

🟦 Curbside Only: Pull all the way forward along the blue dashed curb to drop off or pick up your camper.

🚶 Student Walkway: Kids will follow the yellow arrows safely along the walkway straight to the Camp Entrance (orange circle).

🛑 No-Go Zones: Areas marked with red bars/X's (including the N Pontatoc Rd side exit) are completely closed to camp traffic.

💡 Pro-Tips for Speed:
1️⃣ Have backpacks on and water bottles ready before you reach the curb.
2️⃣ Stay in your car! Our awesome staff will be out there guiding the kiddos safely to the doors.
3️⃣ Bring a little extra patience the first few days as everyone gets into the groove.

Looking for a fun way to keep your kids active, creative, and energized this summer? Registration is OPEN for our awesome summer dance programs! Whether they want to learn the basics of ballet or show off some hip-hop moves, we have a spot on the dance floor for them. ✨

🌟 The Remix Studio: Ballet & Tap
Step into a world of grace and rhythm! This magical class is the perfect introduction to the elegance of Ballet and the upbeat energy of Tap. Students will grow their confidence, find their sparkle, and experience the joy of dancing with friends!
