Happy 3 Kings Day! 👑👑👑

Learn more about this holiday, and get great reading recommendations from Celebrando Nuestras Raíces at Pima County Public Library at the link below!

¿Ya están listos para los reyes magos? Have you put your shoe out for los Reyes Magos to leave you gifts? 👑👑👑

Three King's Day (January 6th) is a celebration of when the 3 wise men (or 3 kings) arrived to bring gifts to baby Jesus. Though it is a religious holiday, it has deep cultural significance in México and diaspora communities. Kids put out their shoes for the Reyes Magos to leave them gifts. Families also eat a Rosca de Reyes, a type of sweet bread, to celebrate.

How are you planning to celebrate? ¿Cómo van a celebrar ustedes?

Here is a book list with some picture books you can check out from County Public Library to celebrate the holiday: https://pima.bibliocommons.com/v2/list/display/2343658419/2439233119
