I had the amazing honor of meeting and speaking with the Chairwoman of the Arizona Libertarian Party Dru Heaton about the movement and the over all scope of how implementing libertarian ideas can benefit the citizens of our town. Thank you for putting faith in me and giving me your Offical endorsement! Still loads of work to be done, and I can’t wait to continue our mission of less government more freedom

Alaska is now ahead of Arizona on sound money, but every victory is another domino. We will soon follow.
Starting August 28, an Alaskan can pay with a gold coin and owe no sales tax on the transaction.
HB 1 is now law. It recognizes gold and silver specie as legal tender and strips the municipal sales and use tax from any transaction that uses it. The bill passed the legislature with bipartisan support and was signed by Governor Dunleavy.
Our platform plank 2.9 calls for a free-market medium of exchange and opposes the monopolization of money production. Alaska just moved in that direction. This didn't happen by accident. The Sound Money Defense League pushed this for years. Rep. Kevin McCabe carried it in the House. Sen. Mike Cronk carried the companion in the Senate.
We supported this bill. We're glad it passed. Share this if you know someone who's been skeptical that the legislature ever moves the right way.

It's officially gay month, so here's our favorite libertarian gay joke.
Two libertarians entered a gay bar in Phoenix, so they bought it.

Libertarians do not believe you must seek permission from the crown to ply your trade or open a business. We must remove all barriers that interfere with the right to work. If you believe the same then join us at azlp.org

We love entrepreneurs. In fact we believe they are the heros of society. They should be free to conduct business on their terms without restriction and regulation.
