UAPD Sergeants Melanie Sultan, Michele Kahn, and retired Sgt. Lindsey Kunz served as instructors at Camp Fury now a national program. This year, 19 young women built courage and confidence through hands-on exposure to law enforcement and fire service, supported by eight agencies from Tucson and Missouri. ππ₯
Detective Lovato brings a wealth of experience to UAPD as both a lateral officer and military veteran. His background in law enforcement and service to our country has helped shape the leadership, professionalism and dedication he brings to our department every day. We're proud to have him serving the Wildcat community and sharing the knowledge he's gained throughout his career.

We appreciate the 100 Clubβs commitment to officer safety! Their Safety Enhancement Stipend made it possible to equip our team with 70 rifle plates helping keep our officers safer as they serve our community. ππ

Yesterday, we had the honor of celebrating Cheryl Plummer and her incredible 30 years of service to The University of Arizona.
Throughout her career, Cheryl was a tremendous supporter of UAPD, helping plan countless events while always prioritizing campus safety and community connection. Her dedication, leadership, and support have left a lasting impact on the university community.
