Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern Arizona was established in 1985 by parents of children with cancer to serve the needs of the children and families undergoing the challenges involved with cancer treatment.

Tucson Parks and Recreation opened 18 city pools for the summer season, running May 31 through Aug. 1, 2026. Pools will be closed on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, July 4, for the holidays. Admission is free at all pools and splash pads.

FREE SWIMMING CLASSES

Space are still available for Starbabies (6 months to 3 years old) and Starfish (3 years old to 17 years old) - all lessons are available for FREE thanks to a grant from Pima County Health Department.
