We are a group of young individuals in Pima County who share a common interest in electing Democrats on a city, state, and national level.

The PCYDs meet at 6pm on the last Wednesday of every month. Meetings are open to all. The Pima County Young Democrats is an official chapter of the Young Democrats of Arizona. ENDORSEMENT ALERT: The Pima County Young Democrats are proud to endorse Deja Foxx in the CD-7 Special Election Primary.

With a decade of advocacy experience, Deja Foxx has practiced what she preaches long before she had the power to directly make the changes she wishes to see within her community. With lived experiences of homeless and recieving SNAP benefits, she carries the empathy we need from our leaders who make decisions affecting millions of Americans’ ability to survive in times of economic uncertainty.

The Pima County Young Democrats’ mission is to not only encourage the next generation to lead, but also advocate for the values of young people and the future of the Democratic Party. By endorsing Deja Foxx, we believe we are furthering all areas of the Young Democrats mission.

Election Day is July 15th; we encourage all of our members living in Congressional District 07 to vote as soon as possible. Remember, Election Day is the LAST day to vote, not the ONLY day to vote. Additionally, we encourage members to consider volunteering their time to canvass or phone bank for the Foxx campaign during the final push.

Last week, the Tucson and Southern Arizona community came together to honor some incredibly hard-working individuals through Care in Action. Among them was our treasurer, Martha Reyes, who is truly deserving of this recognition.

As someone aptly said, “If Martha is quiet, she’s already thinking of a solution.” She is a force to be reckoned with and an invaluable asset to our community.

Thank you, Martha, for your outstanding work and for being such an integral part of this team!

🗳️ Endorsement Alert 🗳️

The Pima County Young Democrats proudly endorse Dr. Ravi Shah for TUSD Governing Board!

As a dedicated father of three TUSD students and a product of public education, Dr. Ravi isn’t in this for political points. He’s here to fight for the future of Tucson’s kids, including his own—one in middle school at Alice Vail and twins in first grade at Lineweaver Elementary.

Since his election to the Governing Board in 2020, Dr. Ravi has worked tirelessly to improve TUSD. With his MBA from Eller and experience as treasurer for his daughter’s PTA and member of the TUSD Governing Board Audit Committee, he’s brought financial expertise and a parent’s heart to the table.

Join us in supporting Dr. Ravi Shah for TUSD Governing Board—because Tucson’s students deserve leaders who prioritize their future! 🌟
