The Pima College Police Department is proud to continue supporting Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona Camp Fury! ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš”

This unique Southern Arizona camp gives teen girls hands on experience in firefighting, search and rescue, crime scene investigation, law enforcement and more while learning from inspiring female first responders.

Among the many participating Southern Arizona Agencies, we are especially proud of Officer Ryan who has been involved with Camp Fury for over a decade. Her dedication to mentoring young women and inspiring future leaders embodies the mission of this incredible program. ๐Ÿ‘

As you celebrate this milestone, Sergeant Blum reminds the Class of 2026 to enjoy the festivities safely and responsibly.

If you choose to drink, never drink and drive. Plan ahead by using a rideshare service or choosing a sober driver.

National Police Week gives us an opportunity to reflect on the weight and meaning of this profession.

This week, we honor the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and remember the families who continue to carry that loss every day. We owe them more than remembrance, we owe them our commitment to serving with purpose, professionalism and care for one another.

Police Week is also a reminder that safety is built through preparation, training, communication and discipline. We honor those who came before us by continuing to improve ourselves and protect one another every day.

Thank you to every officer who continues to serve, protect and make a difference.

To recognize our law enforcement officers during National Police Week, 88-Crime presented a Law Enforcement Appreciation Night, hosted by the new Chick-Fil-A at the Tucson Marketplace. Regional law enforcement officers attended this event. McGruff the Crime Dog, the Cow, and the Chick-Fil-A staff were also present to give our community members an opportunity to say โ€œThank-Youโ€ to the brave men and women that serve us in Law Enforcement across Southern Arizona.

Staff and students from Miller Elementary School were also present to present thank-you posters signed by staff and students to share with law enforcement officers at this event.

This was very much appreciated. Thank you!
