National Police Week gives us an opportunity to reflect on the weight and meaning of this profession.
This week, we honor the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and remember the families who continue to carry that loss every day. We owe them more than remembrance, we owe them our commitment to serving with purpose, professionalism and care for one another.
Police Week is also a reminder that safety is built through preparation, training, communication and discipline. We honor those who came before us by continuing to improve ourselves and protect one another every day.
Thank you to every officer who continues to serve, protect and make a difference.

To recognize our law enforcement officers during National Police Week, 88-Crime presented a Law Enforcement Appreciation Night, hosted by the new Chick-Fil-A at the Tucson Marketplace. Regional law enforcement officers attended this event. McGruff the Crime Dog, the Cow, and the Chick-Fil-A staff were also present to give our community members an opportunity to say โThank-Youโ to the brave men and women that serve us in Law Enforcement across Southern Arizona.
Staff and students from Miller Elementary School were also present to present thank-you posters signed by staff and students to share with law enforcement officers at this event.
This was very much appreciated. Thank you!
