STUDENT COUNCIL: VERY SERIOUS BUSINESS.

When you’re supposed to be helping with the Student Store but somebody discovers the mini hands… 🤏😂

Naturally, there was only one responsible thing to do: SCUBA. 🎶

We promise our Student Council members are usually hard at work serving PRE… but apparently quality control on the Student Store prizes is important too. 😂💜💛

Fall fun is coming to Marana! Join for the Town of Marana Fall Festival on Friday, October 17 at Heritage Park from 2-9 p.m. 🍁 FREE community event featuring: Carnival rides, Mutton Bustin’, Live music, 26 ft inflatable Pumpkin, Creation Station with free crafts, Dog adoptions with HSSA, Movies in Marana showing Disney’s Haunted Mansion (2023), and 20+ food trucks, artisan & craft vendors!

☕️👀 COMMUNITY TIME FAVORITE: CURIOUS COFFEE!

If you know PRE, you know Curious Coffee with Mr. Dix has become a favorite. 😂
The concept is simple: our Hawks suggest something a little weird, unexpected, or questionable for Mr. Dix to add to his coffee…and then we all get to watch him actually drink it. ☕️😳

This round’s student request?
OREOS. 🍪☕️

And somehow… it actually wasn’t that bad?! 😂👏

One of our favorite parts of Community Time is getting the whole school together to laugh, celebrate, and make memories like these. 💜💛

Now the real question is…
What should our Hawks convince Mr. Dix to put in his coffee NEXT?! 👀😂 Drop your ideas below!

💧🌵 LEARNING WHERE OUR WATER COMES FROM! 🌵💧
Our Hawks had some special visitors from Tucson Water who helped bring an important part of our Arizona story to life!
Students learned about where Tucson’s water comes from, why water conservation matters, and how the ways we use and manage our water resources have changed over time. 💦
Living in the desert makes every drop important, and our students had the opportunity to connect what they’re learning about the past and present to choices we can make today to help protect this valuable resource. 🌎💙
A huge thank you to Tucson Water for spending time with our Hawks and helping them better understand the community they call home!

🎉💚 WE DID IT, HAWKS! 💚🎉

Our Kindness Fundraiser has officially come to an end, and we have so much to celebrate! 🦅💜

A HUGE thank you to every student, family member, friend, and supporter who participated, donated, shared a fundraising page, completed a Kindness Passport, or helped spread the word. 💛

But our favorite part has been watching our Hawks spread KINDNESS at school, at home, in our community—and even beyond Arizona! 🫶🌎

The fundraiser may be over, but the kindness doesn’t have to stop. 💚

Thank you for supporting PRE teachers, students, and student activities and for helping show just how much our PRE community can accomplish together.

1,312 POUNDS. 🤯🥜💜

Take a look at what happens when our Hawks come together!

What started as a Student Council service project and a little friendly classroom competition turned into 1,312 pounds of peanut butter collected by the PRE community.
🥇 Preschool: 228 lbs
🥈 Lindsey: 143 lbs
🥉 Pacheco: 137 lbs

Congratulations to Preschool, who earned the Party! 🎉🍰

But the biggest win is what our students got to see firsthand: one small act can become something HUGE when an entire community joins in.
Thank you to every student, family, and staff member who helped make this happen, and to The Cheesecake Factory for partnering with us and giving our Hawks such a fun way to give back.

This is PRE. This is community. And this is what 1,312 pounds of generosity looks like. 💜🦅🥜

💜💛 THE PRE STUDENT STORE IS OPEN! 💛💜
Our first Student Store of the year was a hit! 🛍️🦅 Our Hawks were SO excited to finally get the chance to spend the Hawkbills they’ve been working hard to earn on some fun prizes!
But those Hawkbills are about more than shopping. 💜 Students earn them when they’re caught showing our SOAR with 4 expectations:
⭐ Be Safe
⭐ Be Respectful
⭐ Be Responsible
⭐ Be Kind
The Student Store gives our Hawks a fun way to see that their positive choices matter—and judging by the excitement during our first shopping day, they’ve definitely been saving up! 😂💰
We loved watching students count their Hawkbills, make their choices, and proudly walk away with the prizes they earned.
Keep SOARing, Hawks! 🦅💜💛 We can’t wait to see what you save up for next!
