Event Timing

Today: Rain with fast moving training embedded storms entering northwestern NM.

This Afternoon/Evening: Storms entering Rio Grande Valley from Socorro northward to ABQ, Santa Fe, Espanola, to Taos, with locally heavy rainfall.

This Evening/Tonight: Spreading to eastern NM, with showers and storms lingering in the Rio Grande Valley.

Tuesday: Brief break in rain intensities in the morning. Next wave from Polo's remnants brings next phase of heavy rainfall favoring south-central, central, southeastern, and eastern NM.

Tuesday Night - Wednesday Morning: Moderate to heavy rain shifts more to the northern mountains to northeastern plains of NM.

Wednesday - Thursday: Clearing conditions west-to-east across the state with uncertainty regarding precise end times for any one location.

Community members affected by the recent wildfires are invited to attend a Community Wildfire Support Meeting on May 28th at the Old School House in Nara Visa beginning at 4:00 PM.
The meeting will provide information on available assistance programs, discuss options, and government resources. We encourage anyone impacted by the wildfires to attend.
