The Tulelake Volunteer Fire Department was honored to join the Tulelake Elementary School for its Water Day event, helping students stay cool while enjoying a fun-filled day of activities. The smiles and excitement on the children’s faces made the day especially rewarding. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the firefighters who took time out of their day to support this event and create lasting memories for the students. Our dedication to serving our community, is for both emergencies and through community outreach.

The Tulelake Fire Department proudly attended the Siskiyou County Fire Chiefs Association Firefighters of the Year Dinner held Saturday evening in Yreka, where certificates of recognition were presented to outstanding individuals.

We are honored to share that two of our department members were recognized for their exceptional service and dedication to our community. Our Firefighter Donald Minstar Jr. received the Firefighter Merit Recognition Certificate, and our TESF president Donald Kirby was awarded the Citizen of the Year Recognition Certificate.

We are extremely proud to have such committed and dedicated individuals as part of our team, and we congratulate them on these well-deserved honors.
