We're monitoring for potential severe weather and flash flooding overnight across NE OK and NW AR. If storms can become established, they will be capable of producing all severe hazards, including tornadoes. Have multiple ways to receive warnings!

Scattered showers and a few storms continue mainly across NW AR this afternoon. A storm or two could briefly become strong to severe with damaging winds. An isolated tornado also remains a possibility through the rest of the afternoon.

A Tornado Watch has been issued for Benton and Carroll counties in far northwest Arkansas through 7 pm Sunday. A couple of tornadoes and scattered wind gusts to 60 mph will be possible.

[2 pm - 6/7/26] Showers and thunderstorms continue across far eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas early this afternoon, moving to the northeast. The chance of strong to severe storms is expected to increase into mid to late afternoon.

[12:23 pm - 6/7/26] Additional rounds of heavy rain remain expected into Sunday night, extending into Monday for parts of the area as well. The Flood Watch has been extended through midday Monday for parts of far northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas. Other areas expire at 1 am Monday.
