Three months until Porch Party! 🎉
The countdown is on for Porch Party, our largest fundraising event of the year. In September, we'll gather as a community to celebrate hope, share the mission of Lindsey House, and raise critical funds that help single mothers and their children find safe housing, stability, and a path toward lasting independence.
Porch Party is more than an event. It's an opportunity to invest in families who are working hard to build brighter futures. If your company or organization is looking for a meaningful way to make a local impact, we'd love to have you join us.

School's out and the kids are READY to play!
This year, we've celebrated honor roll students, Scholars of the Year, excellent attendance, and so many other accomplishments from the children at Lindsey House. While these kiddos have definitely worked hard for their success, we also know that safety, stability, and encouragement make a huge difference!
When children have a secure place to call home, they're able to focus on learning, growing, and just being kids.
We are so proud of every student and every mama who worked hard this school year. Now...let the summertime fun begin! 🥳🌞🤸‍♀️

In early March, we gathered for our annual Legacy Luncheon in celebration of International Women's Day.
Yes, we had the opportunity to share the mission of Lindsey House, but moments like these remind us that there is something just as powerful happening in the room.
Women encouraging women.
Women celebrating women.
Women reminding each other that strength grows in community.
The laughter, the conversations, the connections - these are the moments that create lasting impact.
Thank you Emily Kight Hill Photography for capturing these sweet moments for us 📸❤️

At Lindsey House, we see what it
truly means to be a mother. To keep going when the path is uncertain,
to sacrifice so your children can have more, and to choose hope again and again.
Their courage is quiet, but powerful.
Their love is steady, even in hardship.
With the support of a caring community, these mothers are building safe homes and brighter futures; not just surviving, but growing
and dreaming.
This Mother’s Day, we invite you to honor the mothers in your life by standing alongside the mothers at Lindsey House. Your support helps provide not just shelter, but the opportunity for lasting change.
There is space in the online donation, to let us know who you are honoring with this Mother’s Day gift.

Today we're celebrating Taylor! Yesterday, her DHS case was officially closed and she regained full custody of her son. She's worked so hard to make this day possible.
Reunification isn't everyone's story at Lindsey House, but 12 kids and their moms are working hard towards or have recently completed reunification.
For many of these moms, this will be their first time celebrating Mother's Day together in awhile. We love to see it! 🎉

Mother's Day is such a special day around here, we started celebrating early! This past weekend we celebrated the moms who currently call Lindsey House home with a special brunch. These moms continue to show what resilience and love looks like in action. They're working hard towards building a brighter future for their family, and they deserve to be celebrated.
A big thank you to Bramble Breakfast & Bar - Pearl District, TD Williamson, Miss Rogers County Teen, and the Lindsey House board of directors for helping make the event extra special.

The world can be a tough place to navigate for single moms (and many others) right now. So it feels even more important to celebrate the wins.
Earlier this month, a teenager spent the night at Lindsey House with their mom. It's the first night they've spent together in NINE YEARS.
People do recover. Relationships can be healed. Families can find hope. As always, we're grateful for the village who keeps showing up to help make these wins possible.
