Library Club did a great job preparing the Braum’s Book Buddy materials. Braum’s offers a free reading incentive program for 1st-5th grade students.

My marigolds are taking off! I need some advice though. Should I try to thin them, or just leave them be? I want at least one to grow BIG so I can win a prize at the end of the year!

The first 2026-2027 Library Club meeting is in the books! We spent some time getting to know each other, then they helped replenish my bookmarks. They turned out really cute!!

As I am preparing my room for tomorrow, I’m reflecting on our faculty’s theme for the year, “The Marigold Effect.” I’ve planted my seeds and am hoping to watch them grow and bloom, along with the students. This will be my 40th year in education, and even though some days I feel like w**d, I will strive to act like a marigold every day! 😎

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? 🐶✨
My sister introduced me to this trick, and it's coming in handy as I get my classroom ready for another fabulous school year! Here's to learning something new, no matter how long you've been teaching! T Therese Iten Mary Sanderlin
