Before launching our audit of Tulsa’s Authorities, Boards, and Commissions, we spoke with councilors, board members, staff, and residents to understand how these groups operate and where risks may exist.

I appreciated the chance to speak with members of the Tulsa Republican Club today about how I approach this role and how our audit plan comes together.

One thing I always try to emphasize: our audit priorities aren’t set behind closed doors. They’re built through risk assessment, data, and listening to people across Tulsa. Conversations like this help ensure our work stays focused on what matters most to residents.
