IMPORTANT INFO!!!

One week until we launch faster, simpler and more secure driver license and motor vehicle services!

To prepare for the launch of this upgrade on Feb. 17, there will be a brief service pause this week.

Online services:

● Payment transactions on OkCARS will be unavailable starting tonight (Tues., Feb. 10) at 7 p.m.

● OkCARS and all e-services on service.ok.gov will be offline Wed., Feb. 11 at 5 p.m. through Mon., Feb. 16

In-person locations:

● All Service Oklahoma locations and local Licensed Operators will be temporarily closed starting Thursday, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 15.

● Select locations will be open by appointment only on Monday, Feb. 16 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Book your appointment online by selecting Service Appointment: https://kiosk.app.qless.com/03262341-d478-4ac8-afde-2afc2f3745ae.

Tuesday, February 17: All services resume with a faster, simpler system and a new online platform (Navigate).

Important TSA Reminder:
Beginning this Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026, travelers who arrive at any TSA checkpoint without a REAL ID or another TSA-approved form of identification will be required to use TSA’s ConfirmID service and pay a $45 fee per person for identity verification. The ConfirmID option is valid for 10 days of travel and must be paid for online in advance.

More than 94% of travelers already use a REAL ID or another acceptable form of identification.

Check whether your ID is compliant at tsa.gov/ID or learn more about TSA ConfirmID at tsa.gov/confirmID to help avoid delays at the checkpoint and extra costs.

The Tag Office will open today at noon. Be careful out there today!

Heads up if you have plans to visit a tag agency or renew online in February🚗💳

Service Oklahoma says all driver’s licenses and motor vehicle systems will be temporarily offline statewide for a few days next month as the agency switches to a new software system.

That means no in-person or online tag, license, or registration services will be available during the outage window, which will be Feb. 12-16.
