We're always grateful to share resources that support the families we serve.
Our friends at Legacy Family Network have expanded their Blessing Bag Program to include Bartlesville. Each bag is filled with new essentials to help children entering foster care feel a little more comfortable during a difficult transition.
Thank you, Legacy Family Network, for continuing to invest in children and families across our region.
✨We recently added a new delivery location to our Blessing Bag Program! 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 families can now request a bag when they receive a new foster placement.
When children are removed from their homes, they often leave many of their belongings behind.
Each Blessing Bag that we deliver, is filled with all new items children may need when entering foster care, including pajamas, toiletries, underwear, socks, a blanket, stuffed animal, and more.
We are thankful to continue expanding support for children and families across the Tulsa Metro area. ❤️

Our Resource Center shelves are looking a little bare in one area right now… and we could really use your help filling them back up.
We are especially low on boys and girls bottoms/shorts in all sizes as families begin shopping for summer clothing. New or gently used items are welcome!
If you’d like to help from home, we’ve also added shorts and other essentials to our Amazon wish list: fcok.org/wishlist
Every pair helps a child walk into summer feeling comfortable, confident, and cared for. ☀️

We’re so encouraged to see this change coming this summer. 💙
Every child deserves to feel valued and cared for—especially during times of transition. At our Resource Center, we see firsthand how something as simple as a bag can bring a sense of dignity and belonging.
We’re grateful to work alongside caregivers and caseworkers to make sure children have what they need when moving between placements, reunifying with family, or entering care for the first time.
If you’d like to help, we always welcome gently used luggage and bags to support these moments of transition.
We look forward to partnering with DHS to help ensure every child knows they matter.
A new state law will require duffel bags be provided for children entering foster care, so they no longer have to carry their belongings in trash bags.
Foster parents say it’s about more than convenience—it’s about dignity, stability and helping kids feel like they belong.
The bags will also include hygiene items and will be provided starting July 1.
