My father enlisted upon graduation from Colcord High School and served our great nation in the United States Navy, aboard the USS Essex aircraft carrier from 1957-61. My grandfather also served in the US Navy during World War II in the Pacific Fleet. As a proud son and grandson of these USN Veterans, I would like to wish our United States Navy a happy and blessed 251st Birthday!!!

YES, this Friday, OCTOBER 9th is the DEADLINE to register to vote or update your voter registration!!!

You can do so in THESE possible ways:

ONLINE: Through the Oklahoma Voter Portal (valid Oklahoma driver's license or state ID required). Check your registration or get started ASAP at https://okvoterportal.okelections.gov.

IN PERSON: At the Tulsa County Election Board.

BY MAIL: Applications must be postmarked by THIS FRIDAY OCTOBER 9th!!!

ABSENTEE BALLOT: The deadline to request is MONDAY, OCT. 19TH at 5 p.m!!!

Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how much a judge’s decisions can matter to the people standing before them.

Behind every case are real lives. That responsibility calls for preparation, patience, and the willingness to listen before reaching a decision.

Those experiences have shaped how I view the role of a judge and why I take this opportunity to serve so seriously.

The values we learn growing up show up in how we treat people every day.

For me, that means listening, treating others with respect, and remembering that someone doesn’t have to share your background or perspective to deserve your consideration.

Working with different people has reinforced how much those values matter. In a courtroom, every person deserves to be heard and treated fairly.

Why do I help people? Because when someone needs help, having a person willing to listen and show up can make a real difference.

You don’t always know what someone is carrying or how difficult it was for them to ask. A little patience, kindness, and respect can mean more than you realize.

That spirit of service is something I want to bring to the bench. Being a judge means taking people’s concerns seriously, following the law, and giving every case the attention it deserves.
