Originally the World War II Veterans of Tulsa, the group transitioned to The All Veterans Association of Tulsa in the Summer of 2015 as the number of our WWII veterans dwindled and, the number of veterans of other eras and non veteran attendees grew. The meetings are still held every Thursday

Sad to report. that Mr. Paul Andert, one of the founders of The World War II Vets of Tulsa that would later become the All Veterans Association, passed away June 6th, 2020.

Viewing will be Friday June 12th from 12:00-8:00 with family greeting friends from 5:00-7:00 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa, Ok.

Graveside service will be on Saturday June 13th at 10:00 at Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a celebration of Paul's Life Service at 11:00 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel.

Last Friday, Ray "Blackie" Henshall passed away. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was the last living member of the original charter that created Collinsville VFW Post 3077.

This morning at the All Veterans Association meeting, the Daughters of the American Revolution recognized our Vietnam veterans in honor of 2015 being the 50th anniversary of the start of the Vietnam War.

Post 3077 commemorated the end of WWII and honored those who served in other conflicts with an event on August 29th, 2015
