I am editing this post to address something that keeps coming up in comments.......the shirt!
Im going to share what his fiancee had to say! "Edmond almost died on Friday. He was involved in a bad accident. He has a fractured wrist, injured shoulder, and a fracture to his spine. He chose to propose even after the accident in his work truck, and being in the hospital until Saturday. The shirt he has on was the shirt I grabbed for him this morning. He was in too much pain to change the shirt. I could care less what he was wearing, given the circumstances and almost losing him. All I cared about was him being alive!"

On Feb 15th, love was in the air at the Tulsa Cave House. A marriage proposal with quite a side story!
After making plans for the special proposal, the groom-to-be was hit by a car while working, and miraculously lived to tell the story.
He was determined, and got out of the hospital to "make it happen".
There is more to the story that quite frankly makes it "inspirational". I'm so glad they included the cave house in their special moment!

Today the park dept voted to abandon a small area of historical Newblock Park, so that the City can go forward with a plan to put 48 units there for transitional housing. While I support the Mayor and his passion for this, I absolutely think there are more appropriate places. If you would like to be involved, and have a voice, join us!
