When school lets out, food insecurity often rises for families who rely on school meals.
Reasor's says its annual Compassion in Action campaign is working to close that gap, with every dollar staying in local communities to support hunger relief groups like the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

Letting their actions speak louder than words by bagging & boxing over 7345 lbs of food for people who need it in Eastern Oklahoma- thank you to the folks of Human Resources
This will be our BIGGEST summer yet- and you can help!
The Summer Meals program provides prepared meals and/or 5 day meal kits to kids across Eastern Oklahoma throughout the summer.
Last year, we gave out 600,000 meals & this summer we’re prepared for so many more. 😎

We welcomed royalty to the Food Bank today! 👑
& volunteered by packing food for their neighbors in need. Then they decreed that all must learn more about the mission and workings of the Costco-sized Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma warehouse, and it was so, and the people rejoiced. 🎉

Our state has two Food Banks that supply food to hundreds and hundreds of Food Pantries.
Storing food a region’s Food Bank allows for food equitable distribution across the area & creates a hub for food manufactures, farmers, and grocery stores to supply food to- reducing time and costs for food to be provided locally.

We are looking for volunteers with strong communication and interpersonal skills to be the first kind face people see at the front desk.
As a Customer Support Volunteer, you’ll get to greet people, answer calls, distribute emergency boxes to those needing assistance, and even maintain the healthy hydration of the lobby plants!
If you have the ability to multitask, stay organized, are comfortable with basic technology, and enjoy helping others- then simply:

The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma will be closed on Friday, May 25 in honor of Memorial Day.
We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.
