A child's future can change when just one caring adult shows up and stays committed.
This month, six new CASA advocates took the oath to serve children in foster care across Tulsa County. After completing pre-service training, they are now prepared to be a consistent presence in the lives of children navigating the child welfare system, helping ensure each child's needs, experiences, and best interests are heard and considered.
We are grateful to The Honorable Judge Gary Davis for administering the oath and welcoming this dedicated group of volunteers into CASA service.
Every advocate brings unique strengths, but they all share one thing in common: a commitment to standing beside children during some of the most challenging times in their lives. Because of volunteers like these, more children in Tulsa County will have a dedicated voice advocating for their well-being, stability, and future.
Children are still waiting for an advocate of their own. If you've ever wondered how you can make a meaningful difference in your community, now is the time to learn more about becoming a CASA volunteer: https://www.tulsacasa.org/volunteer/
