Franklin County Civil Service is offering the exam for police officer. Last date to file is 9/8/2026. Tupper Lake Police Department is hiring and need candidates to take this exam. Please welcome our newest police officer, Alex Shantie. Alex began his service to the Tupper Lake community this morning! He will begin the police academy next month and be on patrol by February. Here, Alex is taking his oath of office with Village Clerk, Jess Fuller.

It's parade day! The parade will start at the Tupper Lake Town Hall and end at the main entrance to the municipal park on Demars Boulevard (Route 3). All of Demars Boulevard will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the parade is complete. The parade starts at 11:00 a.m. There will be police officers directing traffic throughout the detour.

Tomorrow, June 27th, the Tupper Lake Tin Man will begin at 8:00 a.m. Be observant of increased bicycle and runner traffic on State highways and Village Streets during most of the day into late afternoon/early evening. Expect traffic delays on Demars Boulevard in the area of the Municipal Park. *** Santa Clara Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8:00 a.m. until the race has completed, all other village streets will remain open. There will be law enforcement personnel at designated intersections directing traffic, please pay attention and follow their instructions. Good luck to all participants!!
