Most people want the title. Few are willing to earn it.
This wasn't about taking a break from the work—it was a reminder of why we do it.
While others were sleeping in, making excuses, or waiting for motivation to show up, our Future Marines were out competing, laughing, pushing each other, and building the kind of bonds that don't happen overnight.
Every sprint, every layout catch, every challenge on that field was a choice. A choice to be better than yesterday.
The truth is, becoming a Marine starts long before boot camp. It starts when you decide to show up when it's easier not to. It starts when you embrace being uncomfortable. It starts when you stop settling for average.
To those who came out Saturday: keep that same energy. Keep that same competitive mindset. Keep choosing growth over comfort.
Because one day, you'll look back and realize these were the moments that built you.
The question is simple: Are you willing to do what others won't, so you can become what others can't?

Last Saturday was one of those days you just had to be there for.
It rained… then the sun came out… then back to rain again—and nobody left. Nobody slowed down. Just a group of future Marines getting after it, together.
You could see it in every pull-up, every step on that run, every time someone wanted to quit but didn’t. That quiet decision to keep going—that’s where it starts.
Not perfect conditions. Not a perfect day.
Just effort, accountability, and a whole lot of grit.
Proud of every one of you that showed up and put in work. This is how it’s built, long before boot camp ever starts.
Same time next time. Be there.

Think your sport ends after high school? Think again.
From the field to the mat, from the court to the screen—your competitive edge doesn’t stop here. In the Marine Corps, athletes don’t just walk away from the game… they level it up.
Whether you’ve put in work in soccer, basketball, wrestling, softball, rugby, esports—or even football, bowling, and more—there’s a place for you to compete at a higher level through the All-Marine Sports Program.
This isn’t intramurals. This is representing something bigger than yourself—competing alongside Marines who refuse to settle for average.
Same mindset.
Higher standard.
Bigger mission.
If you’ve got that drive to win, we’ve got a team waiting.
Earn your spot. Wear the title. Compete as a Marine.

Tuscaloosa Gauntlet
Last Saturday was one of those days you just had to be there for.
Mud everywhere, people slipping, laughing, struggling, pushing each other through—it wasn’t pretty, but that’s what made it real. Every obstacle hit different, and you could see it on everyone’s face… but nobody quit.
We were honestly just grateful to be out there with the community and be part of something like that. Watching people dig deep, help each other up, and finish no matter how tired they were—that’s what it’s all about.
Big respect to everyone who showed up and got after it. Y’all earned that one.
If you’ve ever thought about pushing yourself a little further, come talk to us.

Big energy at Sipsey Valley High School last week. 🔥
The showed up and showed out—insane BMX stunts, packed gym, and a message that actually sticks.
Watching these riders throw themselves into the air like that is one thing… but hearing them talk about respect, accountability, and standing up for each other—that’s what hits.
That’s what it’s really about. Not just the tricks, but the impact.
We’re proud to be part of events like this alongside an incredible crew that knows how to connect with the next generation and leave them with something real.
Appreciate everyone who came out and brought the energy today.
Stand up for each other. No hate. 🤝

You knew her. Now she’s back—and better than ever. 🇺🇸
PFC Rawls just got back from recruit training, and she didn’t just earn the title—she made a statement doing it.
Recognized as an Iron Woman with a 300 PFT and 300 CFT, she showed what hard work and consistency really look like.
This didn’t come easy. Early mornings, long days, and choosing discipline when it would’ve been easier not to—that’s what got her here.
Now she’s headed off to Infantry School, stepping into her next challenge without slowing down.
Proud is an understatement. Excited to see what she does next.
Semper Fi, Marine. 🔥

High flying stunts. Loud crowds. Strong message. 🔥
The brought more than just BMX tricks—they brought a mission. Anti-bullying, resilience, and standing up for what’s right. Watching these riders throw down insane stunts while delivering a message that actually matters… that’s impact.
Huge shoutout to Dan and his crew—absolute professionals who know how to connect, inspire, and leave a lasting impression. It was an honor meeting you all and seeing firsthand the passion behind what you do.
The Marine Corps is proud to support events like this—because building stronger individuals starts with character, respect, and courage.

Once a Marine, always a Marine. 🇺🇸
Congratulations to Sgt Holmes on officially reenlisting into the United States Marine Corps after stepping away from active duty in 2020 and the reserves in 2024.
After spending time working in law enforcement and construction, one thing became clear — some things you just can’t walk away from. The brotherhood, the purpose, and the Marine Corps way of life kept calling him back… because deep down, he just couldn’t give it up.
Now, Sgt Holmes is returning to where he belongs, stepping back into the fight as an 0844 Artillery Marine. 💥
The Marine Corps is proud to welcome him back, and we’re just as proud to welcome his beautiful wife and two children as they begin this next chapter together.
Wishing the Holmes family nothing but strength, success, and blessings on the road ahead. Semper Fidelis.
