This Dia De Los Mu***os Sugar Skull turtle was just completed for my bestie who loves sugar skulls and sea turtles. I have advised that I cannot top this gift and all gifts from this point forward will likely be a disappointment. 🤣

This queen bee has been named Deb Bee by her forever owner. Another project that was improvised based on a picture. Thanks to my mom for her lovely hand modeling!

I’ve been a bit lax with my photos again (I blame school, work, and life!) so the next few posts will catch everyone up. All of these are my own design, improvised based on a picture, or completed through a free pattern on YouTube.

1. Replacement baseball lovey for a speciall little one, who loved the first one so much it needed to be remade. (Best compliment a crafter can get! ❤️)

2. A little worry worm for children with anxiety. (Pictured 1 of 24)

3. The Alabama “A” (for personal use) made with the Bernat Loop yarn.

I took on Fabienne Gassmann’s design, a new technique for me; filet crochet. It still needs to be washed and blocked, but it is finally complete after over two years, off and on, and soon to head to its forever home. (I hope to take a better picture once it’s finalized.)

I haven’t posted much because I’ve been working hard towards my degree, but one aspect of one of my courses this semester was to refurbish a spinning wheel I inherited. These are the before and after pictures of my work. Now I just have to get better at using it!
