If you’ve been following us for a while, you probably saw some of our recruitment for REACT! Our REACT project is a R01 funded study that looked at groups of 16 and 18-year-olds, both with and without licenses, to see the effects of age and experience on driving. Check back soon for more!

We are so excited to announce our series partnership with the Addiction Prevention Coalition! APC works hard in the community to educate about addiction issues particularly among teens, while the TRIP Lab focuses on safe driving among teens. Our first topic is ma*****na. Do not get behind the wheel after taking any sort of substance that can impair your faculties.
According to research studies, ma*****na can slow your reaction time, impair judgment of distance, and decrease coordination, which are essential when you’re behind the wheel of a vehicle.

R2DRV study recruitment is still active! The purpose of this study is to examine differences in driving performance among drivers with and without diagnosed concussion. This study aims to also find out when it is safe for drivers to return to driving after concussion.
Subjects are asked to come in weekly to assess driving performance through the driving simulator. Subjects are also asked to complete surveys every night.
