BOO freakin' HOO! Once again, the left-wing local news makes illegal aliens and their advocates the center of attention, and NOT real Alabamans who overwhelmingly support this law! If illegals made half the stink in Mexico as they whine and complain here, their corrupt government would be forced to change. But they wont do that, so it is up to EVERY STATE to make things so impossible for illegals to live and work there that they will have no choice but to GO HOME. Arizona and Alabama are leading the way!
Latino immigrant leaders disappointed with Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley signing immigration revision. Gov. Bentley had threatened to veto bill that made changes to Alabama's strict immigration law, but signed it Friday after he couldn't get legislators to go along with changes he wanted.

Let them be "enraged"! Law-abiding Alabamans stand with Governor Bentley and the Legislature and AGAINST the ACLU, SPLC Obama Administration, and Mexican Government: make Alabama IMPOSSIBLE for illegal aliens to live, and they will self-deport!
Alabama Governor Signs Revised Immigration Law – Illegal Alien Advocates Enraged The Alabama Legislature scored a huge victory on Friday, as Gov. Robert Bentley reluctantly signed revised immigration law H.B. 658 - after legislators refu

"President Obama should be sending Alabama, Georgia, Arizona and every other state that is proactive on illegal aliens a thank you note...for helping the federal government do a job that (it) has been derelict in doing," said U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks (R). "Instead, this president and this Justice Dept. is sending a lawsuit. That is encouraging illegal conduct." Asked about those who are "compassionate" about illegal aliens, Brooks said: "Start thinking in terms of compassion for AMERICANS whose lives would be better if we had a sound immigration policy and we ENFORCED it." WTG, Mo!
Alabama GOP Leaders Slam Obama, Say Feds Derelict on Immigration Issues "I want everybody to know how proud I am of the state of Alabama and the Alabama Legislature for taking such a lead role on a very important issue to the American people," Brooks said.

Why has the Administration and their ACLU and La Raza allies frantically tried to stop Alabama’s law from being enforced? Because it’s WORKING – and putting legal Alabamans back to work. As illegals have fled the state by the tens of thousands, the jobs they took are being filled once again by Alabama citizens. And the unemployment rate in the state has dropped sharply as a result. Arizona-style immigration laws WORK, and put Americans back to work. [CLICK LINK for full details and VIDEO]
Alabama Law Pays Off: Unemployment Down Sharply After Crackdown on Illegal Aliens The war against Alabama’s immigration law has intensified in recent weeks, with a Justice Department lawsuit, visits by DOJ officials, and a showdown over illegal alien children who have been pulled from Alabama schools. Eric Holder sued Alabama, trying to block every aspect of its enforcement provi...

(via www.facebook.com/RealFeminist) As Alabama is besieged on all sides by lawsuits, their new H.B. 56 immigration law is having big results. Marshall County, AL sheriff's deputies arrested Juan Vargas, 28, of Huntsville, on a warrant for 1st degree sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12. When deputies checked on Vargas' immigration status, it was learned that he is in the United States illegally from his native country of Guatemala. Busted is just one in a long line of illegal alien child rapists tormenting America.

Quotes and reaction from both sides of the Alabama immigration battle. My favorite, from AL Gov. Bentley: "If the federal government had done its job by enforcing its own immigration laws, we wouldn't be here today. Unfortunately, by failing to do its job, they have left the problem of dealing with illegal immigration to the states. Alabama needed a tough law against illegal immigration. We now have one. I will continue to fight to see this law upheld." AMEN. God bless you, Governor!
Reaction to Alabama Immigration Ruling Hints at Battles to Come Alabama immigration: A federal appeals court Friday temporarily blocked portions of Alabama's strict immigration law, while upholding others; the reaction was mixed.

YES! Federal District Judge Sharon Lovelace Blackburn again refused to halt Alabama’s tough new immigration enforcement law H.B. 56, pending appeal – this time turning back an “emergency” request by the U.S. Department of Justice and left-wing non-profits who advocate for illegals. Meanwhile the new law continues to pays dividends, nailing a 1st degree child sexual abuser who is here illegally - and making sure he doesn't get away. Go Alabama! Judge Blackburn let stand key portions of Alabama's HB56 that requires schools to check the immigration status of students, and requires police to determine the status of suspected illegal immigrants - the KEY portion that was BLOCKED from Arizona's law. She did block other sections of the law, including making it a crime for an illegal alien to solicit work, or to transport or harbor an illegal. However, the provisions she allowed will have an BIG effect on illegals in Alabama, and we expect a large exodus to follow. Thank you, Judge Blackburn.
Judge Upholds Most of Alabama’s Tough Immigration Law (Victory on H.B. 56!) A Federal District Judge today upheld most of Alabama’s new immigration enforcement law, H.B. 56. This ruling meaning those provisions are now in effect while lawsuits from parties as varied as the U.S. Department of Justice, ACLU, left-wing religious groups and – outrageously – the Mexican Governme...

Judge Sharon Lovelace Blackburn is expected to rule today on Alabama's landmark H.B. 56 immigration enforcement law. The usual suspects, from the Alien Criminals Liberation Union (ACLU), to misguided clergy to the Mexican Government, filed suit against the law. And Judge Blackburn will decide whether the law should be blocked while the lawsuit moves forward - as was done with most of AZ's SB1070, and some of Georgia's HB87. We implore Judge Blackburn to leave most of it intact. The will of the PEOPLE should be her foremost concern. Not the grumblings of foreign governments, and agitators who despise the rule of law.
Ruling Expected on Alabama's Tough New Immigration Law (H.B. 56) Kevin Johnson, an immigration law expert and dean of the University of California Davis School of Law, said the nation will be watching U.S. District Judge Sharon Lovelace Blackburn's decision.

Alabama merely tries to COUNT the number of children of illegal aliens in their schools and how much they cost taxpayers, and the Open Borders Left goes ballistic. (Here PBS does its part to hype the hysterical). This is why state-based AZ-style laws are so critical. Because they WORK. Despite court injunctions and restrictions - illegals flee and do not return.
School Provision in Alabama Immigration Law Forces Families to Move An immigration law that has been called the toughest in the nation is facing legal challenges in Alabama, especially because of a provision requiring public schools to check the immigration status of their students.
