The Parent Teacher Leadership Academy is all about unlocking the leadership potential of parents and teachers to become powerful partners in their children’s education. Since 2007, each year around 100 parents and teachers from multiple school districts in Tuscaloosa and west/central Alabama have graduated from the program! School teams collaborate on a school project based on a school improvement goal. We meet six times a year to develop projects and discuss topics like academic success, school relationships, and community partnerships, all led by experienced educators and faculty. ✏️
