The hearings of the Board scheduled for October 26th and 28th, 2021 will be heard in person at Walter B Jones Hall building in Tuscaloosa at the regularly scheduled time.

Announcing a new publication: History of the State Oil and Gas Board—A Legal Perspective, by Strudwick Marvin Rogers; Oil and Gas Report 17A.
This report is a revision of Oil and Gas Report 17, which was published in 1995 at the 50th anniversary of the State Oil and Gas Board.
The report commemorates the 75th anniversary of the State Oil and Gas Board in 2020 and reviews the court cases related to the Board. Also included are summaries of all appeals of Board orders since the Board was established in 1945, as well as a compilation of all oil and gas laws adopted since that date.
The report will be useful to those involved in the oil and gas industry in Alabama, including lawyers, geologists, engineers, petroleum landmen, and landowners.
