What a sweet story in The Northport Gazette about Collins-Riverside Intermediate School!
"Two weeks ago, students and teachers found handwritten notes around the school hallways that encouraged and complimented them. (Principal) Oden had written a thoughtful note for every student, faculty and staff member and substitute teacher.
Students then returned the kind gesture to their principal by leaving notes on Oden’s office door."
"(Fifth grade student Remie) said Riverside is 'the best school ever' since Mr. Oden knows all the students’ first and last names."
