UPDATE: ALL PARA Activity Centers (Including the Tuscaloosa Tennis Center) & PARKS will delay opening on Monday, January 26, 2026 until 12:00PM and will close at 6PM.

All Tuscaloosa Basketball Association - TBA basketball games and or practices will be cancelled Monday, and those games will be rescheduled.

The Jerry Tingle Activity Center Open House originally scheduled for tomorrow is cancelled and will be rescheduled.

PARAkids Extended Day after school care at Rock Quarry is cancelled in accordance w/the Tuscaloosa City Schools closure.

Ol' Ol' Colony Golf Complex greens will be covered until Wednesday. Iron and Ember Golf at Ol' Colony will open 1/26 at 12:00PM and remain open for regular business hours.

Due to cold weather and potential hazardous conditions, all PARA facilities and parks will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, to ensure the safety of our employees and members who travel from across the county.

🔴 Important Updates:
• All basketball games and practices are canceled and will be rescheduled for next week.
• Our athletics staff will send revised schedules by email, so please keep an eye on your inbox.

PARA’s weather closure decisions align with those of the local school systems and are made at the administrative level with safety as our top priority.

Due to inclement weather, all PARA locations will be CLOSED this Friday, January 10, 2025. There will be NO practices at any PARA facilities or locations.

On Saturday, January 11, PARA centers will have a delayed opening at 11:00 AM.

To prioritize safety, all Saturday games are canceled. Make-up games will be scheduled, and a new schedule will be shared as soon as possible.
